What is a WRL File

wrl file

WRL files are a file extension for VRML - a virtual reality modeling language that’s used to display virtual reality environments. WRL stands for ‘worlds’ - a play on the virtual reality environment it’s meant to replicate.

WRL files are plain text files. They include data that specify details such as vertices, 3D polygon edges, surface colors, textures, and transparency.
