Software Developer - Geometry

POSITION SUMMARY

SPATIAL is seeking a strong engineering / software developer with an interest in developing geometric modeling software, to join its Broomfield, Colorado team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Developing, enhancing, and supporting 3D geometric modeling products.
  • Enhancing the reliability of a mature and complex software system.
  • Interacting with customers and product management teams.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience with mathematical algorithms and developing commercial software
  • 6+ years of software development

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in Applied Mathematics; PhD.  MS.  Engineering or related degrees with a strong concentration in Computational Mathematics and/or relevant experience will also be considered such as Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

Software Engineer - Interoperability

Broomfield, CO

Spatial Corp., a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, is seeking highly skilled Software Engineers with experience developing CAD data translation software in a commercial environment to join its Broomfield, CO team.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Developing / enhancing 3D CAD data translators, including geometry, visualization and GD&T data
  • Evaluating, integrating and productizing partner translator technology.
  • Developing creative, innovative solutions to customer problems
  • Communicating with other development teams round the world

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five or more years of commercial software development experience with CAD data translators
  • Proven experience with Object Oriented Programming, C++
  • Proven experience with CAD/CAM/CAE applications. Some mechanical design experience preferred
  • Understanding and experience in the development and release of commercial software products
  • Experience with Agile and XP practices a plus

EDUCATION:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering. Masters preferred.

MARKETING INTERN

Broomfield, CO

Spatial Corp is seeking an energetic and ambitious summer intern to join our Broomfield, Colorado marketing team. Our objective for the internship is to allow exposure to the entire marketing universe--content, lead generation, inbound, social, events, product and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demand Generation

  • Become proficient with Spatial’s marketing automation system and assist with list, email and drip track creation.

  • Manage our Social Media channels, posting and monitoring taking ownership of accounts like Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube

  •  Search engine optimization

  • Marketing automation tasks

  • Landing page optimization

  • Assist in making changes to the web site

Analytics

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports and tracking document

  • Provide information on Google analytics and other marketing metrics reports

Events

  • Help with the preparation of corporate events

Content

  • Update company website and other marketing materials

  • Assist with content development/re-purpose

  • Write and edit email, landing page, blog posts, eBooks and more

  • Create and edit video content for demand generation and social campaigns

  • Interview and writing for the blog & social media content

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • Undergraduate education majoring in Marketing or Communication, located in the local Denver/Boulder area
  • Excellent writing communication and project management skills
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
  • Experience with marketing and sales tools such as Microsoft CRM, Salesforce.com, Hubspot or Marketo is a plus
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel along with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Plus for experience in business marketing with social media and other digital channels
  • Experience with content management systems (Drupal) is a plus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask with excellent organization and follow through
