High Quality CAD Import

3D InterOp enables expert CAD import, handling B-rep geometry and non-exact geometry. It enables your application to work with an extensive breadth of CAD formats in a seamless, unified way.

Editing for Simulation Type

When the design needs to be edited to suit the simulation type, CGM Modeler is the solution. Typically, this means using booleans to unite everything together before running the mesher. This ensures that the mesh doesn’t have overlapping triangles or non-conformal triangles.

Preparing the Design for Simulation

CGM Defeaturing will remove details in the design that are unnecessary from a simulation point of view. A small hole will not impact the strength of a part, but it will create too many elements in a mesh and impact performance of the solver.
