A Platform for Innovation

CGM enhances data integration through geometric compatibility with Dassault Systèmes V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE platforms, ensuring tighter application alignment. It features Tolerant Modeling from the outset, guaranteeing maximum geometric fidelity for both natively built and imported models. It enables the rapid generation of prototype results using reusable application code, significantly accelerating development.

The Tools Required for Efficient Results

CGM incorporates tools and technologies to enable more efficient 3D modeling. This includes 3DScript, a powerful platform for prototyping and collaboration, which provides a quick, lightweight prototyping alternative so application developers can quickly demonstrate their proof-of-concept. They can then cut and paste code into their application to further accelerate their development.

These features provide high-level capabilities for addressing complex geometries and creating results in one step rather than the multiple operations required in traditional modelers.

Today, designers may begin projects by leveraging existing models and data, which is why CGM Modeler is designed to take advantage of this ‘design by redesign’ methodology. It provides tight integration with 3D InterOp for interoperability with leading CAD formats. Native B-Rep interoperability with Dassault Systèmes V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE  platforms preserves existing models' full geometric and topological integrity.

Automatic Defeaturing

Automatically remove features like holes and fillets with CGM Defeaturing, either as a complete group or by size. This shortens CAE and AR/VR workflows, where geometry simplification is the first step.

Prototyping Tool

The CGM package includes 3Dscript, a JavaScript-based demo application that integrates CGM, 3D InterOp, HOOPS Visualize, CDS and 3D Precise Mesh. Leverage it to prototype your workflow quickly and report bugs accurately.
